1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bancroft platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Bancroft is an AI-powered helpdesk platform that provides shared inbox, live chat, knowledge base, ticket management, and AI automation features. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with different tiers (Starter, Pro, Enterprise).

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are listed on our pricing page.
  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current price until the next renewal.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@bancrofthq.com for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or other harmful content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission

6. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited license to use Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not sell Your Data or use it for purposes unrelated to the Service. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features such as suggested replies, ticket routing, and categorization. AI outputs are provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before sending it to your customers. We are not liable for any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated responses.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request export of Your Data within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bancroft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
